Data We Collect

• Player profile data: display name, internal player IDs, selected avatar/profile information, and moderation status.
• Game progress data: coins, inventory, powerups, entitlements, support rewards, and leaderboard scores.
• Gameplay analytics data: app opens, sessions, run starts/ends, retry-after-death actions, upgrades, level ups, leaderboard submits, reward placement/type/amount, app version, platform, and related timing/score details.
• This first release does not sell in-app purchases. If purchases are added later, Rainlings may collect purchase data such as product ID, platform, transaction status, granted rewards, and safe purchase verification records. Raw Google purchase tokens are not shown to support admins.
• Support data: support messages, support ticket codes, reported game state, compensation history, and profile reports submitted by players.
• Technical data: basic request logs, IP-derived rate-limit information, device/platform context sent by the game, and server error logs used to keep the game working.

Why We Use Data

• To run online features such as leaderboards, player profiles, support inbox, and future purchase recovery if purchases are added later.
• If purchases are added later, to protect purchases from duplicate claims, fake receipts, and accidental loss.
• To moderate player names, profile reports, and suspicious leaderboard entries.
• To understand release health, including retention, session length, run frequency, retry rate, progression, reward balance, and first-session flow.
• To fix bugs, prevent spam, and keep the game fair for other players.

Legal Bases and Player Choices

Where applicable, Rainlings processes data to provide the game service, protect fair play, respond to support requests, comply with legal/platform obligations, and for legitimate security and anti-abuse interests. Where consent is required for optional features introduced in a future release, we request it through the app or platform flow.

You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, objection/restriction, or portability where those rights apply. You may also contact your local data protection authority if you believe your privacy rights were not handled properly.

How We Share Data

We do not sell personal and sensitive user data. We may share data with service providers only as needed to operate Rainlings, including Google Play, hosting/database providers, backend services, fraud prevention, support, and legal compliance providers.

Ads, Purchases, and Future Platform Services

This first release of Rainlings does not show ads and does not sell in-app purchases.

If optional rewarded ads or purchases are added later, this Privacy Policy, Play Console disclosures, and in-game information will be updated before that release. Future ad or store partners may process the data needed to show ads, process purchases, restore eligible purchases, prevent duplicate claims, and handle support.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Rainlings data, including HTTPS for backend communication, restricted support/admin access, purchase verification, rate limits, and server-side checks against abuse. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

International Processing

Rainlings and its service providers may process data in countries where hosting, platform, billing, advertising, database, or support providers operate. We rely on service provider safeguards and applicable legal mechanisms where required.

Automated Checks and Moderation

Rainlings may use automated or semi-automated checks to flag suspicious leaderboard scores, duplicate purchases, spam, abusive names, or unusual support activity. These checks are used to protect fair play and purchases. You can contact support if you believe a decision is wrong.

Third-Party Services

Rainlings may use platform services such as Google Play, hosting/database providers, and game backend services. If ads or purchases are added later, relevant ad, billing, or store providers may also process data according to their own privacy policies.

Children

Rainlings is not intended to collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review or delete it.

Data Retention

We keep gameplay, support, moderation, and future purchase records where applicable while they are needed to operate the game, handle support, prevent abuse, or meet legal/platform requirements.

Some records may be retained after deletion requests when reasonably needed for fraud prevention, future purchase verification, dispute handling, tax/accounting, security, legal compliance, or platform enforcement. Aggregated or anonymised data may be kept where it no longer identifies a player.

Your Choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your Rainlings game profile by contacting rainlingsgame@gmail.com. Include your Rainlings player ID or support code if possible.
